Job Description
Role Software Engineer
Job Location - Bangalore/Mumbai/Pune/India - Virtual
Educational Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree from a reputed Educational Institute in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or equivalent
• Post-graduate degree is a plus
Technical Skill Set Required
• 3-6 years of IT Exp
• 2+ years of experience with SQL, relational database design and methods.
• Preferably should have experience in Team Lead Role
• Knowledge in one programming language out of C#, Java, C++ is mandatory
• Knowledge in other programming or scripting languages like PHP, Ruby, Python is plus
• Performed Low/ High Level Design activities
• Experience in ETL development and Data Integration/Warehousing is a plus
• Should be able to understand Data Models
• Should have experience in Stored Procedure, Utilities & SQL Tuning skills
Soft Skills Required
• Japanese language Skills of level N3 or above is mandatory
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Willing to Learn and explore new technologies
Key Areas of Responsibility
• Clarify the client’s business problem for data analysis
• Participate in requirements and design workshops with our clients
• Translate the business requirements into technical requirements
• Design and develop code, scripts, and data pipelines that leverage structured and unstructured data
• Develop project deliverable documentation
• Must be adept at sizing and estimating new projects, as well as supporting new business development
• All consultants are expected to build value in Interface with Teradata engineering staff and Client as needed to resolve highly complex technical issues
• Specify, demonstrate and scope Teradata solutions that deliver business value to the client / prospect.
• Transfer knowledge and expertise to other TERADATA professional services associates.
• Provide technical expertise to data warehouse clients that will contribute to innovative business solutions.
• Flexible in working in off-working hours (shift work) including 24X7 Support if required
