Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled and creative Video Editor to join our team. As a Video Editor, you will play a crucial role in the post-production process, shaping raw footage into visually compelling videos. You will work closely with our creative team to bring our vision to life and create engaging content for various platforms.

Job Functions

1. Edit and assemble raw footage into a polished final product, ensuring high-quality video output.

2. Trim and rearrange footage to enhance the overall flow and storytelling of the video.

3. Incorporate visual effects, graphics, and animations to enhance the video content.

4. Apply color correction, audio adjustments, and other enhancements to achieve desired results.

5. Collaborate with the creative team to understand project objectives and deliver videos that meet their requirements.

6. Ensure video projects are completed within given timelines while maintaining high standards of quality.

7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, techniques, and software to continuously improve editing skills.

Skill(s) Required

1. Proven work experience as a Video Editor or similar role.

2. Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Photoshop, or other industry-standard tools.

3. Strong understanding of video editing principles, techniques, and best practices.

4. Solid knowledge of visual effects, motion graphics, and compositing.

5. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

6. Attention to detail and a keen eye for visual aesthetics.

7. Excellent communication and organizational skills.

8. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.

+. A portfolio of previous video editing projects demonstrating technical skills and creativity is preferred.

10. A bachelor's degree in film production, media studies, or a related field is a plus.
