Position - System Administrator

Job Location - Ahmedabad

Experience – 2+ Years

Key skills expected:

Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS)

Manage Firewall, Maintain / Update Internet Access based on the Company Policy (blacklist / whitelist websites, portals, APIs end points)

Secure all the Devices using legitimate Antivirus, ensure Virus Definition is up-to-date, Reduce risk of Attack

Manage / Maintain Email Server, Configuration, Mail server backup, History / Archival

Administrate Active Directory AD (User Management, Roles & Rights Management, System Role/Access Management

Create / Manage and maintain all the Hardware / Inventory, LAN, WAN, Desktop / Laptop, Mobile Devices within secured Network, Seamless access to them to authorized users.

Job description:

Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations
Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability
Inspect LAN infrastructure and fix minor or major problems/bugs
Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues
Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completing their own/individual’s work
Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure
Select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the company’s security team
Do regular data backups to protect the organization’s information
Desktop / Laptop configurations, format / RAM / ROM upgrades, hardware assistance
Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
Requirements and skills

Proven experience as network technician or relevant position
Outstanding diagnostic, problem-solving and analytical skills
Good communication skills
Good knowledge of LAN/WAN networks, TCP/IP protocols and network technologies
Hands-on experience with common software and hardware
CCENT/CCNA qualifications are strongly preferred
BSc/BA in computer science, computer engineering or relevant field
Linux / Windows OS familiarities
