The Position

As System Manager I, you will be responsible for IT systems used in Research & Early Development area on the activities – operation, maintenance, release, change, patch management, perform Incident and problem management for supported systems according to ITIL framework. You will be entrusted with the below responsibilities:
• Change & Release Management: participate in new releases, design review, risk assessment and perform qualification activities of the changes in scope.
• Provide technical Solutions to the supported IT Systems as and when needed, capability to provide technical solutions.
• Close collaboration with external vendor and ensuring that vendor deliverables are in quality and timelines are adhered.
• Communicate and involve relevant stakeholders -alignment with LoB(Line of business) stakeholders, primarily, NNQAs(quality assurance)/LoB QAs, System Owners, Project Owners, demonstrate pro-activeness and ownership, manage own time planning and timely deliverables, communicate, and involve relevant stakeholders, enhancing good team spirit and high degree of knowledge sharing.
• Should take complete ownership for the tasks and drive to completion, should be self-motivated and have desire to learn business and understand business complexities and different perspectives of the same.

Qualifications
• Bachelors or master’s degree with 8+ years in IT.
• 5+ years of working experience with System Management and practiced ITIL principles.
• Working experience in any Agile methodology.
• Experience in international matrix organization/ project coordination, work with external vendors and stakeholders in multiple geographies and time zones.
• Experience from working in/with a service level-based organization and managing service level agreements with customers and vendors.
• ITIL certification or equivalent experience equivalent to intermediate level preferred.
• Excellent in English (oral and written) communication, and is structured, business oriented, outgoing, high degree of flexibility and a natural team player.
• Experienced in the use of office desktop applications and tools (e.g., Microsoft Office).
• Pharmaceutical or other relevant industry will be added advantage.
• Experience or working knowledge with Azure DevOps/SaaS Solutions /Application hosting is preferred.

Digital Data & IT GBS (Global Business Service) was established in February 2010 as an integral part of Digital Data & IT in HQ (Head Quarter). From the beginning in 2010, the unit has grown to 800+ employees till date. The main role of DD&IT GBS is to 'manage' IT, which includes System Management, Project Management, Infrastructure Management, Compliance Management, Security Management, Process Management, etc.

In DDIT RED GBS, we partner globally with R&ED LoB to achieve scientific aspiration. We provide timely, best in class, regulated and non-regulated IT solutions, infrastructure, and system management across the R&ED value chain. We manage more than 20+ IT systems and the department consists of Agile DevOps members, System Managers, Validation SMEs, cloud engineers and Business Analysts.
