What will you be doing?
• Continuously review capacity and predictive reports to efficiently allocate system resources and future capacity.
• Install, upgrade and patch multiple versions of Sybase ASE.
• Manage incident responses, documenting and developing solutions to mitigate
• Backup and recovery skills (analysis, strategies, and options) and implementation (scripts, automation, verification).
• Working to tune SQL to ensure minimal resource consumption, optimal data access, and response times.
• Ensure that database security and compliance standards are adhered to.
• Coordinate database maintenance requirements and schedules with application support teams.
• Automating database tasks for continuous service improvement
