Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Manage accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, Procurement & Finance infrastructure
Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements & reports
Establish and monitor the KPIs and SLAs on the A/R and A/P process
Oversee the Fixed assets process including review of FAR, monthly depreciation runs, supporting physical verification and ensuring accurate reporting in the financial statements.
Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
Run the Payroll process
Research technical accounting issues for compliance
Support month-end and year-end close process
Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
Enable controls to have “Zero” non-compliances on regulatory matters.
Understand and oversee the Special Economic Zone compliance.
Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
Requirements and skills
Proven working experience in Finance operations
A chartered accountant with 8-10 years of overall combined accounting and finance experience
Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
Experience with creating financial statements
Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
Excellent accounting software user and administration skills
Personal traits
Exceptional leadership skills; ability to manage a team of 10-15 individuals
Excellent communication & collaborative skills
A self-starter and problem solver
Pays attention to detail
High degree of ownership
