Job Description
JDF- Senior/Test Engineer
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Advocate and help in implementing Quality Practices initiative in Tribe/Platform.
Create overarching testing artefacts (Test Strategy/Approach, Test Exit Report) in line with minimum testing standards and ensure they are regularly reviewed and signed off.
Help QP lead in vendor/stakeholder management.
Participate in defect triage meetings with Customer Outcome Owners and follow-up until defect closure. Share bug status report with stakeholders on regular basis.
Create, execute, and maintain manual/automated functional tests in the designed framework and contribute to the creating and maintenance of the testing framework.
Work closely with everyone on project squads to deliver fit for purpose solutions.
Work closely with rest of Enablement Squad to drive the engineering culture.
Be involved in all other project activities such as increment planning, requirements analysis, deployment process, release management etc.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
Experience with programming languages like Java, Java Script, PowerShell, C# particularly in respect to creating automated functional tests.
Hands on experience in testing (planning, execution, monitoring, analysis, and reporting) using Sahi Pro and Accessibility tools.
Hands on experience of performance testing (Accessibility, Performance-Client Side, Performance-Server-side, Security/Penetration, Visual Automation, Exploratory Testings.) using JMeter, Lighthouse, Sahi Pro, Accessibility tools (IE Plugin, NVDA, Color Contrast, chrome plugins like wave).
Experienced in monitoring tools like Splunk, AppDynamics etc.
At least 2-4 years’ experience of working in an Agile environment.
Deep understanding of the software development life cycle
Excellent communication skills & analytical ability
Excellent technical and organisational skills
Flexibility and the ability to work effectively with internal and external clients
Knowledge on various Automation frameworks: Hybrid, BDD, Data-driven Software development experiences
Good knowledge in any of the integrated tools like Jenkins, Hudson, TeamCity, Kibana and Logstash etc.
