Background

We are looking for a successful professional from an A-grade institute with a strong grip on software development and life cycle management. The position requires good techno-commercial experience in software product development and a great understanding of workflow-based software.

The AVP R&D must be an accomplished software professional and is required to help realize business goals pertaining to the software solutions by maintaining a sound technology strategy, timelines, budgets, performance metrics, etc.

One of the key expectations will be to build a vibrant, motivated, and driven Product Development Team that is able to execute and perform at the highest levels.

She/He will set the technology vision, roadmap, and strategy for the Software components to align with our overall company vision and mission, provide top-quality leadership and hold ultimate accountability for all teams within:

Skill MAtrix:

IoT Cloud system: .net Framework, rest API, Socket Programing, various DBMS frameworks, UI/UX, Technical Support, System Intelligence, System Reliability & Security.

Experience in Big Data Management and AI tools is preferred.

Preferred Framework Experience:

1. Front End:- Angular 8 with DevExtreme Framework

2. Database -

3. Elasticsearch search MySQL

4. SQL

5. MongoDB

Preferred Skills and Exposure:

The company has demonstrated expertise in the following domains. The right candidate should preferably have the following skills but are not essential for the profile. The candidate will nevertheless be required to work with the following teams to create an end to end IoT solutions interfacing with teams leading the following practices:

Product development: Microprocessor Hardware Development, Firmware development on Embedded C

Linux Application: Embedded Linux Application Software development using QT & core C++, OS Customization

KRA For AVP R&D shall also include:

· Be end to end responsible for complete product delivery interfacing with all stakeholders and supervise the development of robust software solutions.

· Should be able to create Project Plans and help in implementing them using Agile methodology.

· Hire and manage IT talent for meeting the technical objectives of the company. Make plans for training and develop training schedules for execution by the HR department. Plan the necessary upskilling required in the team on a timely basis.

· Build a team on the latest tech stacks in use in the IoT domain for cloud-hosted software solutions.

· Able to assist the team technically and guide them as and when required; ensure quality coding that meets standard requirements.

· Ensure that Software Quality Assurance (SQA) activities are performed, review Change management activities

· Develop and Deploy an IT ops strategy.

· Assist in building relationships with software service vendors and creating cost-efficient contracts

· Keep track of IT budgets in order to update the performance of the technology. Ensure the IT budget has no unnecessary expenses

· Reduce the risk of technological breaches, Protect sensitive digital information

· Develop a Solution Maintenance Strategy.

· Respond to feedback from stakeholders and use it to make improvements or adjustments needed to our technology, product, solution and maintain the lifecycle of the project.

· Oversee any changes in system architecture and suggest improvements from a scalability and sustainability perspective.
