Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to play a combination of technical and management roles. It is essential to have excellent communication and coordination skills to successfully integrate various functions in a coordinated manner and deliver the responsibilities in a timely manner.
We are looking for an adaptable, self-driven individual who is a quick learner and can own the below responsibilities:
• Implementing various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure.
• Defining and setting development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operation.
• Supporting and troubleshooting scalability, high availability, performance, log monitoring, backup and restores of different environments. Encouraging and building automated processes wherever possible.
• Identifying and deploying cybersecurity measures by continuously performing vulnerability assessment and risk management. Selecting and deploying appropriate CI/CD tools.
• Striving for continuous improvement and building a continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline).
• Deploying updates and fixes.
• Performing root cause analysis for production errors. Investigating and resolving technical issues.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. At least 6-12 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality software products on time. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience in database management and administration, including SQL and scripting. Experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in creating and implementing DevOps processes and best practices.
• Knowledge of Agile methodology and experience working in Agile development environments. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Relevant certifications in DevOps tools and technologies such as AWS, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and Ansible. Experience in managing a team of DevOps Engineers.
• Experience in JIRA and automation management tools.
• Experience in creating and managing infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform and Cloud Formation. Experience in creating and managing microservices architecture.
• Experience in working with IoT in any capacity
