Full Job Description
· Job brief

We’re looking for a chemist to join our team and help us build safe, high-quality products. You will conduct various tests on chemical products/polymers; analyze their chemical parameters/properties and report. You should also be comfortable writing technical reports and analyses of your findings.

· Responsibilities

1. Testing of all incoming raw materials

2. Testing of all In-process & final samples of day to day plant & lab batches

3. Preparation and standardization of lab reagents

4. Maintaining reagents stocks as per standard practices & indenting well in advance on basis of rate of consumption.

5. Conducting lab experiments / lab batches as & when required

6. Calibrations of lab measuring equipment as per schedule

7. Documentation & reports preparations

8. Performance analysis as & when required by Production & R & D managers

+. Observing safety rules

10. Indenting lab reagents & test materials

11. Attending customers complaints joint testing if required

12. Preparation of samples for internal testing & submitting to customers.

13. Maintaining laboratory ware breakages records & indenting on basis of availability for performing tests

14. Preserving all Inward and Outward samples with proper coding numbers

15. Preparing corresponding audit documents & attending quality assurance audits internal & external

16. Water analysis SEWA/Boiler/Well /evaporation recycled etc.

17. In case of emergency play role as a Co-ordinator& assist to On-seen controller.

· Requirements and skills

Previous experience as a chemist in Chemical industry is a must.

Laboratory work is a plus

Good knowledge of laboratory health and safety standards

Excellent analytical and research skills

Attention to detail

BSc / MSc in Chemistry

Additional certification is a plus
