Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Associate Editor to join our team. As an Associate Editor, you will be responsible for writing feature articles on the business of Jewellery retail and marketing. You should be able to transform reporters copy into tight, clear, and readable stories in line with internal style guides with infographics for our publication. Additionally, you will be responsible for writing headlines, picture captions, and story summaries. You will improve text by identifying inconsistencies and errors (in both language and content) and resolving ambiguous passages in conjunction with the Editors. You will also need to cover important stories from Jewellery economy, Retail Jewellers corporates, Independent Jewellers, current trends, business, etc.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Journalist with at least 10 years of Print and/or Online Features Writing Experience for English publications.
Should have a strong b2b print/digital background, preferably with a business magazine.
Excellent communication and team management skills.
Self-motivated, enthusiastic and result-oriented.
Ability to display strong initiative and work with minimum supervision.
Knowledge of Digital Mediums and ability to research and work on new media.
The candidate should have a degree in Journalism/English Literature.
Salary and Benefits:

Salary is in the range of Rs. 60,000 to Rs 80,000 per month. Medical Insurance worth Rs. 5 Lakhs for Self, Spouse, and Children is available after six months of joining. Office location is Phoenix Marketcity Mall, Kurla West, Mumbai. Office timings are 10.30 am to 6.30 pm, 5-days a week.
