Azure Cloud Architect

Job Purpose

Responsible for the development, deployment, maintenance and troubleshooting of cloud-based applications and public/private cloud infrastructure. Responsible for migration of services from on prem to cloud or to other enterprise data centers.

Role Description

Lead complete cloud stack i.e., Software as a Service (SaaS), and/or Platform as a Service (PaaS) and/or Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) leveraging suites like Salesforce.com cloud platform, Microsoft Office 365, Windows Azure, Google App Engine and Amazon Web Services/EC 2
Collaborate with teams across to identify, design, develop and deploy most optimal cloud systems .
Create roadmaps for and participate different aspects of the software development life cycle for cloud solutions , including planning, requirements, maintenance, testing, and quality assurance
Ensure troubleshooting the incidents that arise by identifying the root cause, addressing and documenting the problems, and applying preventive measures
Ensure integration of cloud applications and leverage knowledge of APIs , pre-scripting, post-scripting and integration testing.
Ensure documentation relating to platform services , integration processes , and deployment approach , as well as creating operational run and playbooks
Train teams on the implementation of new cloud-based initiatives, providing associated training as required.

Qualifications and Experience

About 7-12 Years of relevant experience
Expertise in Design/operations and maintenance of public/private cloud infrastructure, migration of services from on prem to cloud or to other enterprise data centers. should be a results oriented with broad IT network security experience to mee the challenging business needs in a global environment.
Solid understanding of cloud services like Azure/AWS/GCP, native controls, security center, DDOS protection, cloud firewalls, CASB, express route, cloud data storage, cloud storage, Kubernetes, data sharing related technologies, NetApp, Site recovery, CDN, MS defender, MS Sentinel, AWS EC2, AWS Guard, AWS KMS, Cloud Watch, Lambda, cloud containers, etc.
Cloud migration, and cloud consulting
Primary experience required is on MS Azure Architecture, Azure HCI, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS) as secondary skills.
Knowledge in multi and hybrid cloud design and maintenance
Scripting and automation skills: JSON, Ansible, Terraform and Python.
Certifications like Azure and AWS architects, network professional, Cisco/Palo Alto, ZScaler, etc. and Network & Security Certifications like CEH, CISSP, CCSP, CISA, CISM, etc.
Proficiency in MS office and related applications
Competent in people leadership, communication and presentation skills
