Your Tasks

Experience in the development of automotive systems, especially Vehicle Control Systems, is beneficial
Analyse use-cases, create functional requirements and test specifications based on customer demand and development targets
Create/invent new vehicle control functions. Develop, extend and release vehicle control functions
Design of functional prototypes to check the developed algorithms. Perform tests in laboratory (HIL, SIL) and vehicle. Support for improvement of development processes (speed & quality)
Documentation and specification of the control functions for series software design, application and customer


Your Profile

Degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, especially with focus on automotive engineering, mechatronics or control engineering
Very good knowledge of principles of vehicle dynamics. Experience in using simulation and development tools like Matlab/Simulink
Experienced in using standard PC software (especially Excel, Word, Powerpoint). Beneficial is experience in developing micro controller based systems (vehicle electronics). Beneficial are programming skills, especially in C/C++
Beneficial are experiences with software design methods (e.g. CMMI, SPICE). Beneficial are driver licenses for commercial vehicles (classes C/CE (Europe) or equivalent)
Good knowledge about ZF products and system functions. Good language skills in spoken and written English. Good capabilities in written communication (specifications, documentation)
