Position Description:
As a software developer the job involves translating high level business requirements into fully functional code. Skilled with Spring boot and Spring cloud experience designing the transformation and solutions on GCP cloud integrating native GCP services and 3rd party data technologies. Manage requirements and scope to design right solutions with appropriate combination of Spring boot/Java, PCF, Spring cloud data flow, APIs, GCP and 3rd part technologies for deploying on GCP cloud with high quality
Skills Required:
Expert in Cloud-Native Development, proficient in Java/ python, Shell scripting, JDK 11, Spring Boot 2.x, Spring Cloud, Spring Batch and Integration using Microservice architecture Skilled in Java, Spring boot, Pivotal Cloud Foundry(PCF), Pub/Sub, PostgreSQL, APIs, APIGEE, Cloud Run, Cloud SQL,Cloud Logging and cloud Monitoring etc. Well versed with OOPS design concepts and good grasp of architectural patterns Hands-on experience with unit testing/integration testing tools like Mockito, RestAssured, Cucumber. Familiarity with event driven architecture patterns. GitHub, Maven, Jenkins, Terraforms/Tekton, Nexus repository expertise. Working experience inbuilding Images and Containerization using Docker, Docker Engine using an orchestration system like Kubernetes/OpenShift Expert in designing and developing RESTful APIs, schemas, documentation using tools like Swagger and dev testing using tools like Postman, Fossa, Checkmarx, SonarQube Knowledge of modern microservices security practices like OAuth2 Experience analyzing/tuning microservices performance Ability to align workday with US Eastern Time Zone. Proficient in Dynatrace, Splunk, SRE,Google Console cloud Monitoring
Experience Required:
4+ years of Software Engineering experience developing applications w/Java and Python 3+ years of GCP experience working in GCP based Big Data deployments (Batch/Real-Time) leveraging Big Query, Big Table, Google Cloud Storage, Pub Sub, Data Fusion, Dataflow, Dataproc, etc. 5 yrs of data engineering pipelines/ building data warehouse systems with ability to understand ETL principles and write complex SQL queries. 1 Year experience of deploying near cloud services using Terraform.
Experience Preferred:
Net development with an SQL database Agile / DevOps Implementing standards for code quality Ability to manage time effectively and complete work before the end of an Agile Scrum Sprint Cycle Familiarity with reading and contributing to complex flow charts or mock ups Experience with modern development tools that support DevOps solutions
Education Required:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Software Engineering with a specialization in Software Development or equivalent experience
