About the role

To achieve this, we are seeking a talented Java Developer to join our Channel Solutions Team under Pacific Technologies. This team plays a crucial role in managing the critical customer facing applications such as Internet and Mobile Banking along with the Branch Telling and Credit Assessment Applications.

What will your day look like

As a Core Java developer, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing Credit Assessment application with MS-SQL as a backend database.

Your responsibility is to deliver high-quality web applications that align with our business needs and objectives.

A key part of your role is collaborating with other developers and stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into functional software solutions.

You will adhere to best practices in coding and ensure all applications are developed to a high standard.

You should stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and continually seek to improve your skills and our development processes.

Design, develop, test, and deploy robust applications supporting business with using Java, Java Script with Spring framework.

Enhance and develop new/existing APIs supporting Credit Assessment Application used in the bank

Collaborate with other developers and stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into functional software solutions

What will you bring?

5+ years of experience working in large enterprise & globally distributed systems and be able to work with operations and architecture groups developing scalable and supportable applications

Experience in modern development frameworks and languages such as Java, Spring, Spring-boot its related libraries and frameworks.

A skilled developer with proficiency in API development using Java, Java Script with Spring framework.

Understanding of Microservices architecture.

Comfortable using Ms-SQL as a backend database

Experience working in agile methodologies is essential

Strong experience in delivering large scale systems all the way to production

Ability to mentor a team of engineers

Experience working in Atlassian and Cl/CD tools such as Confluence, JIRA, Github, Jenkins/CodeFresh, etc.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex software issues.

Excellent communicator and collaborator
