JForce Solutions is looking for developers who have excellent coding skills and who can start contributing right away.
There will be a bond of 3 years for this position based on your experience. The job location will be Vileparle west, Mumbai.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business users and project teams to gather and analyze requirements for SAP systems.
- Design, develop, and enhance ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, conversions, and enhancements based on functional specifications.
- Customize and configure SAP modules, such as FI/CO, SD, MM, or HR, to meet business needs.
- Develop and implement data migration strategies, including data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
- Perform system testing, debug and resolve issues, and provide technical support during implementation and post-production phases.
- Optimize ABAP code for performance and efficiency.
- Conduct unit testing and participate in integration testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) activities.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including functional specifications, technical specifications, and user guides.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP technologies, trends, and best practices to propose innovative solutions and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including functional consultants, project managers, and infrastructure teams, to ensure successful project delivery.
- Provide training and guidance to junior team members when required.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Strong experience as an ABAP Developer, with expertise in developing and supporting SAP applications.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP modules, such as FI/CO, SD, MM, HR, or others.
- Proficient in ABAP programming language, including ABAP Objects, ABAP Web Dynpro, and ABAP Data Dictionary.
- Experience in SAP integration technologies, such as IDocs, BAPIs, and RFCs.
- Familiarity with SAP development tools, such as ABAP Workbench, SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio, or Eclipse with ABAP Development Tools (ADT).
- Hands-on experience with SAP enhancements, user exits, and BADI implementations.
- Strong understanding of SAP system architecture and integration with other systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex ABAP programs.
- Good understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- SAP certification(s) in ABAP programming or related modules is a plus.
