Senior DevOps Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer with a strong focus on Kubernetes to join our team. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines, with a particular emphasis on Kubernetes container orchestration. The ideal candidate has extensive experience with Kubernetes and related tools, possesses a deep understanding of DevOps principles, and can effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure leveraging Kubernetes for container orchestration.
Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery, ensuring automated testing, deployment, and monitoring.
Collaborate with development teams to optimize application deployments and troubleshoot issues related to Kubernetes and containerized environments.
Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting systems for Kubernetes clusters and applications, ensuring high availability and performance.
Drive the adoption of infrastructure-as-code practices, utilizing tools like Terraform or CloudFormation to manage Kubernetes infrastructure.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends related to Kubernetes and containerization, evaluating their potential impact on our infrastructure.
Qualifications and Skills:
3+ years of experience in a DevOps or similar role, with a strong focus on Kubernetes and container orchestration.
Deep understanding of Kubernetes concepts, including deployments, services, ingress, persistent storage, and resource management.
Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, including managing Kubernetes clusters on these platforms.
Strong knowledge of CI/CD concepts and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Argo CD) and their integration with Kubernetes.
Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform for managing Kubernetes infrastructure.
Experience with containerization technologies like Docker.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with a focus on automating repetitive tasks.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
