Accounts Tax Assistant

Full Job Description
We are seeking a qualified individual to join our team as a contract staff member responsible for handling Income Tax Return (ITR) filing and accounting tasks. This is a temporary position for a duration of 3 to 4 months.

Immediate Opening

Responsibilities:

Handling Income Tax Return (ITR) filing for the organization and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
Managing the organization's accounting functions, including bookkeeping, journal entries, and financial record keeping.
Assisting in the preparation of financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Conducting periodic financial analysis and reporting to support decision-making processes.
Ensuring accurate and timely processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Reconciling bank statements and other financial records to maintain accurate financial data.
Assisting in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.
Collaborating with internal teams and external auditors to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Providing support during the audit process and assisting in the preparation of audit schedules.
Keeping abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations, and implementing necessary updates to maintain compliance.
Qualifications:

Completed CA Articleship or CA Intermediate level.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Proficient in tax laws and regulations related to income tax filing.
Knowledge of accounting software and tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Prior experience in income tax filing and accounting roles will be an advantage.
