Job Description: Operations
• Work with existing transportation suppliers on optimal delivery.
• Recommend the most advantageous transportation of cargo delivery.
• Direct and follow up with the transporter for delivery of export and import materials to the customer and also ensure prompt delivery to customers and satisfaction.
• Responsible for planning and tracking the shipment of cargo according to customer requirements.
• Work with and monitor the efforts of the team in the supply chain to ensure smooth operations
• Responsible for maintaining accurate logs of all cargo through gate passes, e-way bills, delivery challans and other shipment documents.
• Organize labour for loading and unloading cargo from trucks/containers.
• Count the number of packages to be loaded or unloaded from vehicles/containers, and maintain proper data per records.
• Inform the company through appropriate channels in case of any shortage/excess or any damages to the packing/cargo etc.
• Maintain inventory of all the packages received/dispatched shipment wise and customer wise.
• Ensure all the cargo is properly secured or covered to avoid pilferage/damage.
• Escalate any issues effecting operations to the manager for quick resolution.

Job Description: Customs
• Submission of shipment documents to the customs officer and co ordinating with them for shipment clearance, e.g.: assessment of bills, amendments, bonding and debonding, S6 file process etc.
• To coordinate with government authorities like PQ, FSSAI and drug control department for clearance of import and export shipments like cargo examination and obtaining final NOC certificate from the related authorities.
• Preparation of checklist for import and export.
• Filing of shipping bill and bill of entries
• Coordination with customers against shipment clearance and updates
• Do correspondence with shipping lines
• Maintenance of shipments reports like DSR
• Ensure the closure of files as per the SLA
• Any other works related to customs and governmental departments.

Knowledge: Import/Export Operations, Documentation, Government Liasoining, Freight Forwarding, Customer Service,

Skills: Understanding of international trade compliance requirements, ability to take feedback, communication and networking skills

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: 15,000.00 per month onwards

Education
• Any Degree/MBA Logistics and Supply Chain Management/MBA International Business

Experience
• Operations in Import and Export: Minimum 1 year (Preferred)

• English, Hindi, Telugu (Required)

License/Certification
• Driving License (Required Valid)
