Visual Basic Developer

JOB SUMMARY

As a developer proficient in VB .NET and SQL Server, your primary responsibility will be to develop and maintain Windows-based applications. You will work closely with the software development team to design, code, test, and deploy applications that meet the needs of the organization.

Primary Roles & Accountabilities -

· Application Development: Use VB .NET and SQL Server to develop Windows-based applications according to project requirements and specifications.

· This includes designing user interfaces, writing code, and integrating with backend databases.

· Database Design and Management: Create and maintain SQL Server databases, including designing table structures, writing stored procedures, and optimizing database performance.

· Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including project managers, business analysts, and quality assurance testers, to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software solutions.

· Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. Develop and execute unit tests to verify the functionality and integrity of the applications.

· Stay updated with the latest technologies, tools, and trends in software development. Proactively identify areas for improvement and propose innovative solutions.

KeySkills–
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server and experience in database design and management.
• Proficiency in VB .NET programming language.
