Your Profile

Graduated in engineering science, preferably in mechatronics, electrical, automobile or mechanical engineering with 2-6 years work experience
Basic knowledge of (Heavy commercial) vehicle dynamics and its impact for braking and suspension
Work experience in model based functional design, control function simulation and testing with MATLAB®, Simulink®
Proactive, analytical and conceptional skills with willingness to work in an interdisciplinary & international team and good communication skills in written and spoken English
Willingness to travel ~30% based on project needs

Your Tasks

Development and specification of innovative system functions in the field of braking functions in the area of Trailer EBS & ABS
Execute relevant system engineering processes acc. Automotive SPICE (V-model) & ISO26262 (Basics)
Definition and documentation of system requirements and system architectures as well as the corresponding test conditions based on customer requirements with execution of development tests in the laboratory and vehicle
Close cooperation with other departments (hardware and software development, product marketing) as well as university research institutes and external service providers
Support system and software qualification testing in problem resolution.
