Electronic Repair Technician

Full Job Description
An expert in SMPS must have knowledge of its working, diagnosing problems using a multimeter and oscilloscope, and testing the repair work done. They should have expert knowledge in using electronic components like resistances, capacitors, diodes, bridge rectifiers, MOSFETs, and interpreting IC pin functions from data sheets. They should also be able to use alternate specs components if the same components are not available. They should have the ability to find faults on the PCB by identifying where the voltage and current are not showing up. They should be skilled in replacing discrete components and SMDs from the PCB using a soldering iron and hot air gun. Additional skills may include reading SMD components specifications through a lens and finding their specs from data sheets.
