Roles & Responsibilities :

Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure

Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes

Testing and examining code written by others and analyzing results

Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cyber security threats

Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and ‘fixes’

Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended

Planning out projects and being involved in project management decisions

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

Deploy updates and fixes

Provide technical support

Build tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve experience

Develop software to integrate with internal back-end systems

Perform root cause analysis for production errors

Investigate and resolve technical issues

Develop scripts to automate visualization

Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance .

Pre-requisite skills required for a DevOps Engineer role include

1. BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field

2. Experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar Infrastructure engineering role

3. Experience working on Linux based infrastructure

4. Excellent understanding of shell

5. Awareness of critical concepts in DevOps and Agile principles

6. Working knowledge in AWS cloud services & Docker & Jenkins (CL / CD) & Monitoring tools Configuration and managing databases such as MySQL, Mongo

7. Working knowledge of various tools, open-source technologies, and cloud services

8. Strong knowledge in Apache and Nginx Web servers

Weekoffs will be on weekdays

Shift allowance only for night shift: 10:30 PM - 7.30 AM
