Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Backend Developer with a strong understanding of software architecture to join our dynamic team. As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the server-side logic and infrastructure of our applications. In addition to your technical expertise, you should have a deep understanding of software architecture principles and the ability to contribute to architectural decisions.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain efficient, scalable, and reliable server-side code for our applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, designers, and product managers, to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Participate in architectural discussions and provide insights and recommendations to improve system performance, scalability, and maintainability.
Analyze and optimize application code for performance and efficiency.
Write and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture, API documentation, and implementation details.
Identify and address technical debt, code vulnerabilities, and other potential risks in the backend infrastructure.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices related to backend development and software architecture.
Mentoring and providing guidance to junior developers on software development best practices, coding standards, and architectural principles.
Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to ensure the seamless deployment and operation of the backend systems.
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a Backend Developer, preferably working with scalable web applications.
Strong proficiency in at least one backend programming language, such as Python, Java, or Ruby.
In-depth understanding of software architecture principles, including microservices, event-driven architecture, and RESTful API design.
Experience with popular backend frameworks, such as Django, Spring, or Ruby on Rails.
Solid knowledge of database systems, both relational and NoSQL, and proficiency in writing efficient SQL queries.
Familiarity with cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and experience with deploying and managing applications in the cloud.
Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
Understanding of security principles and best practices in backend development.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex backend systems.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
