Job Description
• Handle day today accounting functions.
• Maintain proper and accurate records of all the activities of the company.
• Prepare and monitor the account payable and receivable
• Prepare MIS reports, - on time - accurately well before the scheduled due dates - first for the approval of the Finance Manager
• Responsible for all account reconciliation activities, including Banks.
• Obtain vendors and customer statements regularly and identify gaps and required correction.
• To prepare the budget, forecast based on the guidance from the Management and report regularly and periodically and as required by the management all the reports from time to time well within the dates agreed and these are in addition to standard weekly and monthly reports.
• Ensuring timely payments are done for all the renewals of licenses/agreements/contracts/others.
• To monitor and manage all the expense within the allotted budget and inform the Management for deviations from budget.
• Keep accurate and perfect records of payables and others for future reference.
• Support internal or external auditing team on financial and other departmental activities
• Independently finalise audits, handle the audits suitably and complete the same well within the statutory due dates and date lines
• Co-ordinate with overseas accounts team for reconciliation and group audit, as and when required
• Flair for numbers and should be willing to stretch, as and when required
• Conduct stock audit for farms and hatcheries on a regular basis

The Successful Applicant
• CA/CA Inter graduates with experience in handling accounting software, preferably GP.
• Additional qualifications - Cost Accounting will be an added advantage.
• Minimum 8 years experience in handling accounts and finance.
• Must have experience in handling accounts and finance independently.
• Having fluent communication skill in English.
• Excellent computer Skills (Microsoft suite) and analytical skills
• Knowledge and experience in budgeting and forecast
