Role Purpose:

Inspire and motivate class children in their learning by delivering age appropriate, thought-provoking lessons that capture pupil’s imagination and develop a love of learning languages. Engage and encourage the children through enthusiasm and inspirational teaching techniques to help then attain competency in the German language as per their age/class expectations.

Responsibilities and Duties

· To Plan and prepare teaching material in advance of lessons, liaising with facilitators to ensure the material is in harmony with each curriculum

· To create age/class appropriate assessments and evaluate their attainment accordingly.

· To be able to include German Stories, rhymes, poems, and drama within lessons.

· To have excellent interpersonal skills – self-confidence, listening and communication skills, empathy and authority;

· To possess the ability to teach in differentiated ways to meet the needs of all pupils

· To be responsible for record keeping in accordance with statutory.

· To manage classroom behavior in accordance with the school pupil code of conduct.

· To be able to present the subject creatively.

· To have excellent organizational skills and the ability to cope with pressure

· To be Self-motivated and responsible;

· To have the ability to work both as part of a team and independently;

Qualification:

· Candidates minimum Graduation & having B2 level certification in German language

· Successful teaching experience preferred

· Should possess good knowledge in the German language

· High quality communication skills

· A flexible and adaptable approach.

· A desire to continue to learn and develop within the role

· A sense of humor

· Ability to work well under pressure.
