UPSC | MPSC Admission Counselor at Vasai

Engage with prospective students and their families, providing information about Prayas India's educational programs, admission criteria, and application process.
Conduct individual or group counseling sessions to address inquiries and concerns regarding admission requirements, curriculum, scholarships, financial aid, and other related matters.
Assess and evaluate student applications, ensuring they meet the specified criteria and required documentation is complete.
Collaborate with academic departments and faculty members to stay updated on program offerings, prerequisites, and admission-related policies.
Provide guidance and support to students in preparing application materials, including resumes, essays, letters of recommendation, and personal statements.
Conduct interviews or assessments to evaluate applicants' suitability for specific programs, if required.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student interactions, inquiries, and application statuses in the admission database or CRM system.
Participate in admission events, such as open houses, career fairs, and information sessions, to promote Prayas India's programs and attract potential applicants.
Collaborate with the admissions team to develop strategies for increasing enrollment, improving admission processes, and achieving recruitment targets.
Stay updated on industry trends, educational policies, and regulatory changes that may impact admissions, and adapt strategies accordingly.
Adhere to ethical guidelines and ensure confidentiality of student information.
Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (such as education, counseling, psychology, or a related discipline). A master's degree may be preferred.
Prior experience in admission counseling or a related role within the education sector.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with prospective students and their families.
Knowledge of educational programs, admission processes, and financial aid options.
Familiarity with student assessment methods and tools.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in using computer applications and admission management systems.
Passion for education and helping students achieve their academic goals.
