Join us as a Scrum Master
• We’re looking for an experienced Scrum Master to drive a culture of continuous improvement
• You’ll make sure that your team lives by the values of Scrum, empowering them to become high-performing to increase their productivity, transparency, frequency and the quality of delivery
• Hone your project skills as you work with talented people in a collaborative and innovative environment, with access to our bank's Agile community, experts and events
• We're offering this role at vice president level

What you'll do

Day-to-day, you'll coach and guide your team to perform at their highest level and at a sustainable pace. To do this, you'll act as a process owner for the team and maintain the relationship with the project's key stakeholders.

You’ll remove any impediments to progress, facilitate meetings, protect the team from outside influences or distractions and work with the product owner to make sure that the product backlog is in good shape and ready for the next sprint.

Your responsibilities will include:
• Building a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution or being judged
• Facilitating discussions, decision-making and conflict resolution
• Encouraging the team to build relationships to promote internal and external communication

The skills you'll need

To be successful in this role, you'll have at least 12 years' experience, an understanding of tools, like Jira, Confluence and LeanKit, and the ability to work with development and design teams.

Alongside this, you'll have knowledge of PI metrics and its improvisation through inspect and adapt ceremonies and Scrum and Kanban methodologies and good servant leadership capabilities.

Furthermore, you'll demonstrate:
• A background of coaching cross-functional teams into high-performing teams
• Experience of changing organisational, team or department mindsets and structures
• An understanding of how to apply empirical process controls
• A good knowledge of the Agile manifesto and its principles
• Stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence both business and technical partners
