Job Title- FMI-Operations – Recovery and Resolution Planning Specialist
Corporate Title: Assistant Vice President / Associate
Location- Bangalore
Role Description:
In order to meet DB’s global Recovery and Resolution Planning (RRP) obligations, FMI-Operations under Regulatory Cross-Product Operations, has set up a BAU process to ensure the DB Group makes applicable assessments and documents appropriate contingency strategies that can be used in a stress or recovery scenario.

Your key responsibilities:
FMI Risk Management & Operational Continuity:
• Author and refresh Recovery and Resolution Planning (a.k.a., Living Wills) contingency strategies for Financial Markets Infrastructures (FMIs) and Agent Banks
• Analyze and interpret global regulatory guidance and enhance existing contingency strategies to meet the requirements
• Engage with Business, Operations, Treasury, Legal, and Risk Management functions to gather input on applicable contingency strategies
• Perform quality and consistency reviews of contingency strategies
• Maintain FMI (Financial Market Infrastructure) PCS static database
• Perform mock drills as required by local regulators
Your skills and experience:
• Strong written, analytical and communications skills, including ability to conduct and drive workshops across multiple stakeholder groups
• Excellent organizational, time management, and project management skills
• Excellent research skills including experience with online search tools
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
• Strong attention to detail
• Able to multitask and complete projects on time
• Deep understanding of the operations and functions of clearinghouses, central securities depositories, and payment systems
• Ability to understand and comprehend complex financial instruments across asset classes – equities, fixed income, cash equivalent, derivatives, etc.
• Ability to understand, interpret and draw conclusions from research conducted on regulatory guidance and regulations
• Understanding of Living Wills / Recovery and Resolution Planning and other applicable regulations
Qualification:
• Degree or relevant industry experience. Legal, Regulatory or Compliance background preferred Previous operational (settlement and clearing) industry experience.
