Position – Server Administration Support Analyst
Experience – 5+ years
Location – Hyderabad
Working Condition – Hyderabad / Remote
Skill Set – Knowledge on SQL/Server Admin
Roles & Responsibilities:
Unix:
Proficiency in Unix/Linux operating systems, including command-line navigation, file management, process management, and user administration.
Strong knowledge of shell scripting (e.g., Bash, Perl, Python) for automation and troubleshooting tasks.
Understanding of Unix networking TCP/IP protocols, and network services (e.g., DNS, DHCP, SSH).
Windows:
1. Expertise in Windows Server operating systems, including installation, configuration, and administration.
2. Familiarity with Active Directory (AD) management, group policies, and user access control.
3. Experience in PowerShell scripting for automation, task scheduling, and system management.
Cloud Server:
1. Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
2. Understanding of cloud infrastructure components, including virtual machines, storage, networking, and security.
3. Familiarity with cloud management tools and services like Azure AD, Exchange Online, and virtual network configurations.
Software (non-clinical):
1. Proficiency in troubleshooting software-related issues, analyzing logs, and performing software installations and upgrades.
2. Understanding of software deployment methodologies and version control systems.
3. Familiarity with software licensing, patch management, and software inventory management.
Email:
1. Experience in configuring and troubleshooting email services such as Microsoft Exchange, Office 365, or G Suite.
2. Knowledge of email protocols (SMTP, POP3, IMAP), email security measures, and anti-spam solutions.
3. Understanding of email routing, distribution groups, and mailbox management.
Network:
1. Understanding of networking concepts, including IP addressing, subnetting, routing, and VLANs.
2. Knowledge of network troubleshooting tools (e.g., Wireshark) and network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
3. Familiarity with network devices like routers, switches, and firewalls.
Infrastructure:
1. Proficiency in server infrastructure components, including hardware installation, RAID configurations, and server virtualization.
2. Experience with server monitoring and management tools.
3. Understanding of backup and disaster recovery processes.
Security:
1. Knowledge of IT security principles and best practices.
2. Understanding of access control mechanisms, authentication methods, and security protocols.
3. Familiarity with security tools and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and vulnerability scanning.
Hardware:
1. Knowledge of computer hardware components and troubleshooting techniques.
2. Understanding of server hardware, storage systems, and networking devices.
3. Familiarity with hardware monitoring tools and diagnostics
