Digital Lab Technician - Dental

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Digital (CAD/CAM) Dental Lab Technician to join our team of dental professionals. In this role, you will play a vital part in the digital production of dental prostheses while maintaining productivity and quality in a fast-paced modern dental environment. Your technical expertise will be essential in resolving problem cases and collaborating with dentists to ensure optimum patient satisfaction. Additionally, you will be responsible for completing sterilization processes for CAD/CAM equipment and the operatory.

Skills Required: To excel in this role, the ideal candidate must possess the following skills:
• Prior experience as a dental laboratory technician.
• Experience in CAD/CAM crown and digital denture production, either milled or 3-D printed.
• At least 3 years of experience with Dental CAD/CAM software and technology to scan, design and fabricate and dental prostheses.
• Proficiency in dental anatomy and terminology.
• Proven ability to digitally design a range of dental prostheses, including crowns, bridges, implants, dentures, night guards, etc.
• Strong ability to meet tight deadlines while consistently producing high-quality restorations.
• Meticulous attention to detail, thoroughly scrutinizing designs to detect flaws prior to fabrication.
• Proficiency in administering revisions to rectify anomalies, discrepancies, inconsistencies, or irregularities.
• Demonstrated ability to teach and pass on scanning, designing, and milling skills to other dental staff in a clinic.
• Competence in operating CAD/CAM equipment such as milling machines and sintering ovens.
• Knowledge of Smile Design software and 3D printing will be considered an advantage.
