Software Engineer | Testing

Job Summary :
We are looking forward to software engineer test in Eaton’s electrical business who is passionate to work in software domain, who understands and inculcate ethical values with transparency. He/She is a quick learner and easily adapts to upcoming technical domains and believes in leading the team from front. He/She is efficient and takes accountability to assigned charter which fits in to overall goals of software, web, desktop and database technologies and solutions. He/She must have a keen eye for quality and should be really passionate about meeting the deadlines.

Job responsibilities

Exposure to internationalizations QA
Identify, Create and Execute tests Web applications and desktop applications as well as cloud solutions
Develop test automation in Selenium using JAVA and Serenity framework
Develop test automation for API testing
Utilize QA processes and concepts to assure quality of a project
Use JIRA, Confluence and JAMA for storing various artifacts and create reports for statuses
Write basic sql queries and understand DB structure to test the application E2E
Write script for Jmeter to test the performance of the application (Added Advantage)
Track various QA metrices after collecting the data required
Work as an individual on modules and build expertise on those modules
Be ready to explore, learn and develop solutions for problems
Be extremely flexible in terms of technology or platforms.
Should have worked in Agile
Qualifications:
Educations

BE or Btech or MCA
Years of experience

3 yrs of experience in software QA experience
2 yrs of experience using Selenium with Java
1+ yrs of working with web applications and desktop applications
1+ yrs of experience on SQL queries
1+ yrs of experience with performance testing (Good to have)
Proven experience to develop test plans and test strategies
Prover track record at making Go - No Go decisions for a project/ product
Technical knowledge

Proficient with QA concepts
Proficient with Agile concepts
Proficient with Selenium with JAVA
Understanding of Test Automation framework
Efficient with VBA, VBScripts is an advantage
Knowledge of protocols like MODBUS or SNMP is an advantage
