Bus cum Van Driver for Hostel

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Bus cum Van Driver with Heavy License to join our hostel. As a driver, you will be responsible for providing safe and efficient transportation services for our students, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction. This position requires excellent driving skills, and the ability to adhere to schedules and safety regulations.

Responsibilities:

- Safely transport hostel students to and from designated locations in a timely manner, following predetermined routes and schedules.

- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the bus and van, conducting regular inspections and reporting any issues to the management.

- Adhere to all traffic rules, regulations, and safety standards while operating the vehicle.

- Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance activities.

- Report any accidents, incidents, or vehicle malfunctions promptly to the hostel management.

- Communicate effectively with the hostel staff regarding any changes or delays in transportation schedules.

- Follow instructions and special requests from hostel students or management when necessary.

- Assist with other duties within the hostel, such as lunch box handling or front desk support, as needed.

Qualifications:

- Valid driver's license (Heavy License) with a clean driving record.

- Previous experience as a bus or van driver, preferably in a hospitality or transportation industry.

- Familiarity with local traffic regulations and routes.

- Excellent driving skills.

- Strong communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and handle responsibility.

- Physical fitness to load and unload luggage and perform other related tasks.

- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
