Aerospike and Redis Database Administrator

We are seeking an experienced Aerospike and Redis Database Administrator to join our team. As an Database Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the performance, availability, and security of our Aerospike and Redis database systems. You will work closely with development, infrastructure, and support teams to design, implement, and maintain DB clusters to meet the needs of our business. Roles and Responsibilities Skills: Aerospike: (Primary)

Install, configure, and maintain Aerospike database systems.

Monitor database performance and proactively identify and resolve issues.

Develop and implement backup and disaster recovery plans for Aerospike clusters.

Ensure database security by implementing access controls and encryption.

Knowledge of database security best practices and protocols

Collaborate with development teams to optimize database schemas and queries.

Work with infrastructure teams to ensure Aerospike clusters are properly integrated with the rest of the technology stack.

Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical systems. Redis: (Mendatory)

Install, configure, and maintain Redis database systems.

Design and implement database backup and recovery procedures.

Monitor database performance, identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.

Configure database security and access controls to ensure data integrity and protection.

Manage database replication and scaling to meet business needs.

Collaborate with development teams to optimize database design and performance.

Troubleshoot and resolve database-related problems as they arise.

Keep up-to-date with industry developments and recommend improvements to database systems and processes. Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

Minimum of 4 years of experience as an Aerospike and Redis Database Administrator.

Strong experience in database administration, including installation, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

Expertise in designing and implementing backup and disaster recovery plans.

Knowledge of database security principles and best practices.

Experience with Linux operating system and shell scripting.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
