Job Description
• You will influence how we build individual features and products, and bring in best practices and patterns that can be used for the engineering lifecycle for the Android discipline
• You'll take ownership of our continued efforts to scale mobile app development across Engineering, providing valuable insight on how we can refine our processes and tools to support additional contributors in our architecture and code
• Take ownership of end-to-end product quality, from developing to maintaining core app frameworks that help make the apps more reliable and delightful
• Create prototypes of new ideas and explore new technologies at the forefront of mobile technology

Skills And Experience We Are Looking For
• At least 3-10 years of working experience in native android development with Java and Kotlin
• Strong OOP design and programming skills in Java and Kotlin
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
• Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON
• Good understanding of Jetpack Components such as View Model, Live Data, Data Binding, Room etc.
• Good understanding of Dagger, Okhttp, Retrofit, Butterknife, Glide, Volley, Espresso, Mockito, Powermockito or equivalent libraries in android
• Good understanding of integrating the 3rd party libraries and payment libraries like Amazon Pay, Juspay etc
• Good understanding of design architecture such as MVC, MVP, MVVM
• Understanding of Google's Android design principles and interface guidelines
• Good understanding of offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
• Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications with FCM
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
• Ability to self-manage and work autonomously in a collaborative environment and good team player
• Basic knowledge on coroutines, Rxjava
• Atleast 1 project have to be developed from the scratch independently
