Python Developer Temp Role

The Python Developer will be responsible for working on web frameworks, writing effective and scalable code along with developing back-end components to improve responsiveness and overall performance.
Job Responsibilities
Work on web frameworks, writing effective, scalable code.
Developing back-end components to improve responsiveness and overall performance.
Integrating user-facing elements into applications.
Ability to debug and resolve issues.
Knowledge of Open-source frameworks and cloud technologies including Containers.
Desired Skills
Proficient in Python (Data Structures, OOPs concepts, File handling concepts, Exception Handling, Generators, Iterators)
Comfortable with using any ORM model.
Experience in REST API development using any Web framework (Fast API – nice to have)
Work on Python test framework tools, including Pytest
Nice to Have: Understanding of JavaScript, and front-end JS frameworks like React.
Nice to Have: experience in working in AWS / Cloud environment.
Bachelors or master’s in technology with 4-6 years of work experience

OakNorth Bank was built on the foundations of frustrations with old-school banking. In 2005, when our founders tried to get capital for their data analytics company, the computer said ‘no’. Unfortunately, all major banks in the UK were using the same computer – and it was broken.
