Native Android Developer |KOTLIN

We are looking for an Android Developer(mainly KOTLIN) to produce scalable software solutions. You will be part of a cross-functional team that s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment.

Required Skills:
• Proficiency in core programming languages Kotlin, Java, Android
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
• Bring in best practices and patterns that can be used for Android activity lifecycle
• Hands-on experience in building mobile applications and mobility solutions native applications
• Expert in UI components & controls; Action Bars, Widgets, Fragments etc.
• Expert in basic components of Android: Activity, Services, Intent, Retrofit API, Firebase
• Good working experience on Web Service Integration ( REST, JSON, XML) & cloud technologies - Firebase
• Proven work experience in design patterns mobile architecture using frameworks such as MVVM
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to effectively integrate Android applications
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git
• Familiarity in implementing CI/CD pipeline to deploy Android apps on Google Playstore
• Familiarity with various testing tools.

Key Responsibilities:
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Fast prototyping of proof-of-concept features/application based on the brief.
• Develop and maintain new features on Mobile Application development.
• Own the feature to be developed, tested & shipped into respective stages.
• Responsibility to develop unit test cases for his/her project module.
• Optimize performance for the apps and keep up to date on the latest industry trends.
• Architecture Maintenance: Android codebase, SDK and library updation, Security assessment with relevant patches.

Expectation:
• 1+ years of relevant development experience in Android development
• Strongly adhering to Mobile principles, Coding standards, Design patterns.
• Ability to work autonomously and to be able to work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders
