Senior Mechanical Technician | Rigging|NDT Technician

JOB PURPOSE;

To physically inspect, review reports submitted by the contractors related to quality and to ensure compliance of the products supplied with reference to applicable project or product specifications.

To conduct periodical inspections on rotary equipment like Kneader, Static plant equipment that includes structures and air receivers in the plant

1. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Production and Engineering Projects and critical to operations equipment’s released from Central Maintenance and prepares Inspection reports.

Inspects inward materials at warehouse receiving with reference to the applicable drawings & specification and reports the findings to end user for major non- conformances.

Conducts visual inspection and review of quality documents at vendor premises of out sourced repair or newly fabricated components.

Conducts routine inspection as per the schedules of Air Receivers, Structural, Piping and Kneader shaft during minor and major overhauls.

Prepares and forwards reports to the concerned area owners and maintains records in the database and files.

Enters technical details in SAP including the work history as required

Seconds Supervisor – Mechanical Inspectionin developing and documenting welding procedure specifications and follow-up maintaining welder's certification records.

Seconds Supervisor – Mechanical Inspection in preparing inspection plans and co-ordinates with external inspection agencies for the inspection and certification of DUBAL's Air Receivers, Structures and Piping to ensure the regular inspections of the DUBAL's static equipment.

2. QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

Minimum Qualifications:

Diploma Certificate (or equivalent) relative to his chosen discipline

Minimum Experience:

Must have a minimum of 8-10 Years' experience in jobs related to inspections of mechanical static and rotary equipment

Skills:

Knowledge of reading drawings and Destructive & Certification in Non-Destructive test methods of Radiographic Testing, Ultrasonic Testing, Magnetic Particle Testing, Penetrant Testing, Visual Testing
