Sr| Software Engineer| SAP BASIS

Job Summary

A strong SAP Basis administrator with a solid understanding of SAP architecture and HANA experience. This position will be part of a team of SAP resources supporting Semtech SAP landscape. To work independently on defining solution for a mid-side, complex projects or contribute to solution of a program.

Responsibilities

Provides technical support on SAP Basis systems including establishing standards and requirements, evaluating and directing enhancements, and implementing solutions for performance monitoring, and systems configuration, design and implementation.
• All aspects of Basis Administration –ECC, BW, BOBJ, HANA, PI, BPC and APO
• Should have hands-on experience in BPC, BOBJ, Fiori and PI administration
• Must be strong on SAP NetWeaver, HANA and Solman administration
• Develop and execute the technical roadmap of activities required to maintain a stable SAP landscape, applying application patches, Service Packs, Enhancement Packs, system upgrades, federation service and ensure consistency of technical components and configurations across environments.
• Must have experience with
• CIF queues between ECC and APO systems.
• Good understanding of Oracle Databases and SQL Administration
• Well familiar on Oracle and HANA Backup and Restore
• Linux OS

• Ability to work as a team and direct the activities of less experienced members of the team if needed.
• Ability to work in a fast pace environment that support 24x7 live systems.
• Ability to work closely with the SAP functional analysts, infrastructure team and the help desk team.

Minimum Qualifications

Graduate with 5 + years of experience.
• Must have at least one full lifecycle SAP R/3 implementation experience (Project Preparation till Go-Live)
