Job Description

Qualifications & Experience : • PhD +1 year of relevant experience or • Master's degree +5 years of relevant experience in GIS/ Remote Sensing/ Forestry/ Environment or other related fields. Technical : • Hands-on experience in ArcGIS/ QGIS/ Open Source GIS software and Google Earth. • Solid Cartography Skills • Detail-oriented and excellent written and verbal communication skill. Preference : Candidates with knowledge about the working experience in handling Forest Conservation Act (FCA for GIS related inputs and handling Parivesh Portal will be preferred. Job Responsibilities and Duties : • Digitize sites for projects and prepare GPS maps. • Ensure alignment of data as per the standards. • Maintain accuracy of data. • Utilize ArcGIS Desktop, QGIS, Earth Google. • Work with KML/Shapefiles. • Deliver technical support to forest staff and officials
