Site Civil Engineer

Job Description:

This position will play crucial role in site inspection and checking the quality standards of the project. This position will require you to operate from the office, and visit the various sites as and when required. Primary responsibilites of this position will include frequent site visits, preparing the bill of quantities/ tender documents, and maintaining strong communication with the various agencies to ensure the quality site progress.

Key Responsibilies:
• Visinting sites to monitor construction activities, ensuring they adhere to project plans, specifications, and quality guidelines.
• Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure construction work meets industry standards and project requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers to create detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
• Preparation of bill of quantities and tender documents for the project.
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with subcontractors suppliers, and ensure project progress.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation including, reports, bills, etc.
• Identify and address construction-related issues, proposing solutions to keep the project on track.
• Monitor project expenses, track costs, and work to optimize the budget while maintaining quality standards.

Qualifications:
• Proficiency in Microsoft excel
• Ability to read drawings using AutoCAD software
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communication skill
• Ability to lead a team and effectively manage subordinates
• A bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field
• Experience in estimating construction costs and project management is a plus
• Relevant experience in the construction and engineering industry is a plus.
