Senior Network Architect

Overview:

The primary focus of this role is to develop & drive large Data Center Networking sales engagements. You must demonstrate the ability to understand business needs of a customer, and generate technical solutions to meet those requirements, showcasing business value & system architecture along with being cost effective, secure, performant and cost resilient. This requires high quality technical consultation with customers to generate and win sales proposals, bids/tenders etc.

You should have proven skills & experience to engage with senior technology decision makers, in network design & engineering teams across verticals such as Banking, Finance, Capital markets, Public Sector, Manufacturing etc

Key responsibilities:

· As a key member of the solution sales team, provide technical consulting in pursuit of data center networking sales engagements

· Gather & comprehend business & technical needs so as to generate a highly resilient, secure & scalable solution

· Carry responsibility for the selection of accurate networking hardware & software components required for Bill of Materials for the prepared solution

· Deliver technical presentations, pilot, proof-of-concept showcasing the solution’s key features

· Provide compelling evidence of how the generated solution meets customer’s business goals

· Effective communication with various customer stakeholders so as to provide in-depth responses to any technical or business queries or concerns during the entire engagement lifecycle

Qualifications:

· 12-15 years of experience as a presales architect in data center, networking security solutions

· A proven technical leader, with strong business acumen and the ability to lead formal meetings of large group meetings or technical sessions with senior executives

· Highly conversant with state-of-the-art data center networking technologies, protocols & standards

· Proficient & hands-on experience with networking products from Cisco/Juniper/Arista etc

· Familiar with current market trends, SI offerings

· Able to work Independently with minimum supervision

· Strong written & verbal communicator with excellent grasp of English language

· Good knowledge of Microsoft Visio, PowerPoint, Word

· A good team player
