Title: Senior Accountant
Location: Wadala, Mumbai, India (Corporate Office: Wadala, Manufacturing Units: Bhiwandi & Chakan)

Job Overview: We are inviting applications for a skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to lead our accounting division. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a small yet expanding manufacturing company within the metal packaging industry. As our Senior Accountant, you will take charge of the firm's financial health by managing our daily accounting operations, administering and improving our financial policies, systems, and processes, and providing critical financial insights to the management.
Key Responsibilities:
· Supervise day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.
· Generate comprehensive financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring their accuracy and compliance with accounting principles.
· Conduct detailed account reconciliation and swiftly rectify any discrepancies.
· Calculate taxes accurately, prepare tax returns, and lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.
· Direct the company's budgeting and forecasting endeavors, providing detailed variance analysis.
· Develop, implement, and enhance financial policies and procedures in compliance with local, national, and industry-specific regulations.
· Collaborate effectively with other departments to ensure timely and accurate recording of all financial transactions.
· Review and validate all company financial transactions, and prepare invoices as necessary.
· Partner with external auditors and tax consultants to facilitate audits and timely tax filing.
· Proactively identify potential improvements in the company's financial systems and processes, recommending and implementing solutions.
Qualifications:
· A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
· 10+ years of robust experience in an accounting role, with a preference for candidates with experience in a manufacturing environment.
· In-depth understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting practices.
· Proficiency in financial software like Tally and advanced skills in MS Excel.
· Exceptional problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: ₹35,47+.75 - ₹46,352.80 per month
