Staff Nurse. Nursing Recruitment

Job description

Staff Nurse (Dialysis) will be responsible for ensuring that all clinical protocols is being followed and to ensure high level of patient satisfaction, to focus on patient centricity, monitoring patients undergoing dialysis treatment and maintaining highest safety and cleanliness standards.

Roles and Responsibilities

To effectively interface with patients/ Anesthetist/ Surgeons/ other service users with high level of responsiveness.

To be well versed with different surgical procedures, equipment used in O.T & Pre-Post operative management of patients in O.T.

Stock Management:

To ensure proper Co-Ordination with other disciplines in case of shifting, transfer to all wards.

Ensure noise and movements within the theatre is kept with minimum.

To ensure the fumigation carbolization process.

To ensure the consumables & sutures are available on time.

Co-operate & co-ordinate with OT staff to ensure effective efficient patient care delivery.

To ensure timely indenting and proper stock management.

To be well groomed, punctual & adhere to company policies and practices.
• To effectively interface with patients/ attendants/ physicians/ other service users and deliver quality nursing care with compassion and high level of responsiveness.
• To demonstrate skill in patient assessment, rounds, capturing and carrying out doctors orders, documentation & equipment handling.
• To follow admission procedure, charting and reporting, record management and discharge formalities on time with accuracy.
• To ensure accurate and timely medication administration.
• To actively participate in programs for quality improvement in nursing practices.
• To follow infection control policies and biomedical waste management guidelines of the hospital.
• To collaborate with other disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery.
• To ensure timely indenting and proper stock management.
• To be well groomed, punctual & adhere to company policies and practices.
• To have complete orientation of QMS and EMS system of Hospital.
• To have complete Awareness about Disaster Management Programme (DMP) of the hospital.
• To Comply with the service quality Process, environmental & occupational issues & policies of the respective area.
• To Comply with patient safety policy.
• To ensure safe utilization of equipments and proper waste disposal system

Nursing Staff Jobs:

Full Job Description
• Taking over from the ward In charges along with the night report books of all wards.
• Going for rounds to all departments and enquiring if everything is going on smoothly.
• Going to patients room for rounds especially the suit rooms.
• Sorting out any problems the nurses face with other departments or vice versa, and speaking to the concerned HOD’s.
• Conduct meetings with the in charges as and when required.
• Conducting interviews of new applicants.
• Approving leave to in charges and staff nurses.
• Solving all types of doubts and problems and try to run the operations smoothly.
• Seeing to the infection control that it is followed properly by the staff of the hospital, by assigning an in charge and receiving reports from him/her.
• Check if staff has met grooming instructions.
• Making certain rules and see that they are followed .
• Trying to solve the problems which could not be addressed by the in charges of other departments.

General Responsibility
• Adhere and comply with Organization Regulations and Administrative Policies.
• Adhere and comply with policies and procedure related to patient care, infection control, patient safety and accreditation standard

Quality Management
• Monitor clinical and other established performance indicators to ensure ongoing quality Improvement.
• Follow international patient safety goals.
• Report all near miss, sentinel events and any other incidents.
• Always maintain privacy and confidentiality of patient information and records.
• Comply with all quality standards as decided by organization for patient safety and quality of care
