Job Description – Oracle JD:

Cloud Migrations & Oracle Database Management

5- 8 years of experience is required

Mandatory Skills-
• Migration Experience: Db migration experience for Aws, Azure, Google, OCI cloud (Oracle to Postgresql / MS Sql Server migrations)
• Proven experience in migrating oracle to Postgresql on cloud platforms like AWS,Azure,GCP.
• Strong Proficiency in databases administration with expertise in both oracle and postgresql/mssql.
• Familiar with cloud services like RDS,SCT,Google Cloud sql and Azure database for postgresql / sql server db.
• Exposure to different migration tools like AWS SCT, DMS, Azure DMS, ora2pg any third-party tools.
• Designing backup strategies and retention for the migrated databases using cloud platforms or any other utilities.
• Expertise in managing the storage,cpu ,data management requirements for the optimized solution along with cloud features : s3 bucket,cloud watch,datastorage,data factory.
• Implementation of data security measures including encryption and access controls to ensure data protection during and after migrations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex migration challenges including code conversions (package,Procedure,Synonyms)
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stake holders.
• Relevant certifications in cloud platforms, database administration or postgresql are a plus.
• Experience in handling Maintenance activities including patching and job scheduling over cloud.
