Senior Database Developer

We have an urgent opening for 'Senior Database Developer' who can work with our team.Our clients are top fortune 100 international technology companies.

Notice Period - Immediate to 15 days

Job details:

Experience - 4 years - 8 years

Technology:

o MSSQL, PostgresSQL are a must.

o MongDB , MySQL, Oracle, any Rational Database knowledge is good to have.

· Extensive experience in SQL, PL SQL

· Real Application Clusters, ASM

· Data migration, RMAN

· Installation, Configuration of Oracle databases on different platforms.

Using PostgreSQL and MSSQL is able to:

Create and maintain database structures,

Make sure that data is stored efficiently, and write and test database code, including SQL (Structured Query Language) queries, procedures, and functions,

o Architect the Database,

o Migration and Replication activities

o Implement all the activities of DBA,

o Documenting and Maintaining the Records and Implementation.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1) Development

· Extensive experience in SQL, PL SQL coding, debugging database stored procedures, functions, triggers.

· Implementation of new features

2) RAC / ASM

· Installed, configured 2 node RAC configuration, TAF, spfile.

· RAC configured using OCFS2 as well as raw file systems.

· Managed ASM instances.

3) Database Creation/Monitoring/Upgrades/Migration/Patches

4) Backups, Standby databases and Storage management

5) Performance Tuning

· Server tuning by configuring initialization parameters.

· Partitioning / Reorganization of data for better performance.
