Database Administrator

The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, installing and managing our databases. You will ensure optimal database performance by analyzing database issues and monitoring database performance.ResponsibilitiesPreparing and maintaining test/production/development environmentBackup database and application source codeInstallation, configuration and upgrading of MS SQL/Oracle/MySQL/ Server software and related productsEstablish and maintain sound backup and recovery policies and proceduresPerform database tuning and performance monitoring.Implement and maintain database security (create and maintain users and roles, assign privileges)Perform general technical trouble shooting and give consultation to development teams.Patch Management and Version Control of Various components of DB and Application Servers.Installation, configuration and upgrading of Application Software and related products.QualificationsBachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science Technology, or a related field of studyProven knowledge of SQL ServersStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsTechnical Skill Set Required:IIS/Web Logic/ Web Sphere Application Server Configuration and Management.Database and Application backup planning and execution.Database Tuning tools/functions knowledge for Performance.Linux and Windows OS workable knowledgeOracle/DB2/MySQL/MS Sql Database Installation to Management.Experience:7 to 10 yearsLocations: : Bhopal , Indore, Jabalpur -MP
