Role Description

This is a full-time on-site Senior Accountant role located in Kochi. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day accounting tasks, including journal entries, account reconciliations, financial statement preparation, and financial analysis. The Senior Accountant will also be responsible for creating and maintaining financial reports, identifying trends and issues that have financial implications, and helping with budget preparation and forecasting.

Qualifications
• Excellent understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis
• Expertise in financial reporting, budget preparation, and forecasting and are also interested in the digital and start-up world
• Strong experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, P&L and payroll processing
• Proficiency in accounting software programs and MS Office package, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
• Experience in a broadcast media firm or events firm is a plus
• Excellent communication in English and interpersonal skills to be able to work with different teams
