Job Title: Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) - Mathematics

Job Summary: A PGT in Mathematics is responsible for imparting quality education in mathematics to students, fostering a positive learning environment, and ensuring that students achieve academic success in the subject.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Teaching Mathematics:

· Plan and deliver effective and engaging mathematics lessons to students in accordance with the curriculum and syllabus.

· Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to cater to different learning styles and abilities.

2. Curriculum Development:

· Contribute to the development and improvement of the mathematics curriculum.

· Stay updated with the latest developments in the field of mathematics education.

3. Assessment and Evaluation:

· Design, administer, and grade assessments, tests, and examinations to evaluate student progress and understanding of mathematics concepts.

· Provide constructive feedback to students and parents regarding their performance.

4. Classroom Management:

· Maintain a well-organized and disciplined classroom environment that is conducive to effective learning.

· Manage classroom behavior and address any disciplinary issues as necessary.

5. Individualized Support:

· Provide additional help and support to students who are struggling with mathematics concepts.

· Identify and address the specific learning needs of individual students.

6. Extracurricular Activities:

· Encourage and participate in mathematics-related extracurricular activities, such as math clubs or competitions.

7. Professional Development:

· Attend workshops, seminars, and training sessions to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on educational best practices.

8. Parent-Teacher Communication:

· Maintain regular communication with parents or guardians to discuss student progress and address any concerns.

· Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance.

10. Collaboration:

· Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to create a positive and effective school environment.

· Participate in department meetings and contribute to the school's overall educational goals.

Qualifications:

· A postgraduate degree in Mathematics .

· B.Ed in mathematics

· Strong subject knowledge and passion for mathematics.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Classroom management skills.

· Patience, adaptability, and the ability to motivate and inspire students.

Salary: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
