The HVAC Service Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems at client sites, ensuring the uninterrupted performance of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment. Responsibilities: Service and Repairs: - Conduct thorough inspections to diagnose HVAC system issues and determine necessary repairs. - Perform repairs and maintenance on various HVAC components, including air conditioning units, furnaces, boilers, and ventilation systems. - Replace or repair defective parts as needed, such as compressors, motors, fans, and thermostats. Scheduled Maintenance: - Execute routine preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal system efficiency and longevity. - Clean and replace filters, lubricate moving parts, and check refrigerant levels. Troubleshooting: - Identify and resolve technical problems efficiently to minimize system downtime. - Collaborate with the technical team to troubleshoot complex issues and implement solutions. Client Interaction: - Communicate with clients to explain repairs, maintenance needs, and service recommendations. - Provide excellent customer service and ensure client satisfaction. Documentation: - Maintain accurate records of all service and repair activities, including service reports and equipment documentation. Safety and Compliance: - Follow safety protocols and ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards. - Stay updated on the latest HVAC codes and regulations. Inventory Management: - Manage and maintain an organized inventory of tools, equipment, and replacement parts. - Ensure the availability of necessary supplies for service calls. Professional Development: - Stay informed about new HVAC technologies and industry advancements through training and certifications. Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent. - Proven experience as an HVAC Service Technician or in a similar role. - Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and troubleshooting techniques. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Strong communication and customer service skills. - Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. - Willingness to travel for service calls within the company's service area, including potential international travel to Bangladesh. - Knowledge of local HVAC codes and regulations is a plus.
